Trade: Korea attracts $1 billion at World Chinese Entrepreneur Convention

The Korea Times reports that Korea attracted a total of $960 million in potential investments and actual deals in the World Chinese Entrepreneur Convention that ended its in Seoul Wednesday.

The potential investments were made on the memoranda of understanding (MOUs), a step before actual deals are signed. In addition, Korean and Chinese businessmen signed contracts that amounted to $130 million.
