Aid: South Korea to increase overseas aid

In line with the U.N. Millennium Development Goal, South Korea is to expand its development assistance for foreign countries up to 0.25 percent of the gross national income by 2015. The amount is currently set at 0.06 percent.

The U.N. Millennium Development Goal is aims to cut extreme poverty by half and wipe out AIDS.
