Exploration: Jordanian company seeks gold in Sudan

A Jordanian company has discovered commercial quantities of gold in Nahr al-Nil State in Sudan. Production and marketing operations are expected to start at the beginning of next year.

The announcement was made by the ambassador of Jordan to Sudan, Ahmad Ibrahim, who also announced efforts to increase flights between Amman and Khartoum in order to facilitate transport between the two countries.
