Gas: Work commences on Kazakhstan gas pipeline

Work has commenced on the $140 million gas pipeline connecting the Karachganak gas field with Uralsk. It is envisaged the project will have a capacity of 500 million cubic meters of natural gas and will support Kazakhstan's plans to gasify rural regions.
