That's about it for tonight!
It's one of those days where earlier I had a lot I intended to say in this final post of the day, but when I when I sit down to write - zilch!
Apart from wondering why a Mr Softy ice cream van keeps passing my window doing about 70 kph at 8:15 pm, I can't think of anything interesting, motivational or inspirational to say.
Ice cream vans.
Remember those sunny summer days when you would hear their jingle, pressure mum or dad into giving you some money, and look up at the driver and say, "Please Mister, can I have a strawberry ice cream". Well that's another thing that has been buggered up. Something once associated with innocence is now associated with crime and violence. Used for money laundering, drug selling and even tobacco smuggling, I now hear an ice cream van and wonder what he is actually selling.
I must stop this. The next thing I know I will be saying thing such as, "In my day..."
Wherever you may be - be safe!
In my day we never had to say that:)
