Or as I prefer to call it - football.
Tonight, in front of a sell out crowd of 82,000 people, Australia take on Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier. Not only is it being broadcast on TV and radio, but it is also being broadcast free of charge on the Internet, (I believe this is applicable to Big Pond users only).
So, I cleared the decks in order to focus more on the game and less on unemployment rates in Amastakistan, (there is no such place so you can close Google or the CIA fact book!).

About the photo. Cute little thing isn't it. For some reason I have always called this bird,"The Bird Of Happiness," as it always seems to appear in the garden below my window at symbolic times.
This morning I looked out and there it was. Haven't seen it for a while and normally when he/she pays a visit, he/she doesn't hang around too long (well it is a Bird of Happiness!).
Today is the third anniversary of Mel first contacting me and just after I took a photo of the bird, a card arrived from Mel. Two birds, one of which was the identical colour of the bird in the photo.
I call that, "Intelligent Planning Theory"!
