A new study by the European Commission, reveals that 83% of EU companies say that "diversity in the workplace" makes good business sense. Respondents who have implemented such policies listed benefits as being able to recruit from a wider selection of people, being able to keep better workers longer, improved community relations and an enhanced company image.
However, only half of the 800 companies who took part in the survey have actually implemented the policies.
