International Development: Sudan Development Program

A press release by the Sudan Development Program, reports that an agreement has been signed by the Sudanese Government, announcing its full endorsement of the Sudan Development Program, an initiative organised to raise the economic profile of Sudan.

The objectives of the program are -

* to facilitate Sudan's commercial development
* promote bilateral relations
* provide the international business community with direct access to ministers
* and to give the Sudanese private sector a direct business channel to the global community

Over 100 ministry officials and private sector representatives were at the official launch of the program. No doubt none of them went home hungry.
