Media: Russian ultranationalist activist sues leading feminist - but maybe for the wrong reason

The Russian News and Information Agency, reports that Alexei Ostrovsky, an activist from the Russian ultranationalist Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR), has filed a lawsuit against leading playwright and feminist, Maria Arbatova. Recently on television she claimed that "10% of insane people vote for the LDPR". Alexei Ostrovsky, claims the remarks insulted not only the party but also its electorate.

Am I missing something here?

A leading feminist who campaigns against gender discrimination does not appear to have the same regard for mental health issues, nor does the political activist. Had she made such a reference in Australia, there would have been an outcry.
