Monopolies: Mexico slaps Coca Cola with $68 million anti-monopoly fines

Dow Jones reports that Mexico has imposed a $68 million anti-monopoly against Coca Cola (KO) and its distributors and bottlers, following a battle by one woman who got fed up being told what to sell at her one-room store in a poor Mexico City neighborhood.

Regulators and a Coca Cola representative confirmed the penalty to The Associated Press.
