NGOs: How many NGOs does it take to change Nepal?

I was amazed to discover that Nepal, which is slightly larger than Arkansas and with a population of just over 27 million, has over 18,000 registered Non Government Organisations (NGOs).

Apart from holding seminars, workshops, forums and making statements that most of the world never gets to see - what on earth do they all do!

If all these NGOs decide to get together and have one large conference, I would just love to have the contract for the catering arrangements.
