Outsourcing: Singapore Exchange to outsource to HP

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) is to outsource the management of its data center and IT infrastructure to Hewlett Packard.

The five-year deal is reported to be worth around $56 million. It is estimated that SGX will make a 20% saving on the cost of overhauling its own data center and IT infrastructure.
