Small Business: German organisations to assist Vietnamese SMEs

Two German organisations are to assist SMEs in the Red river delta provinces of Vietnam.

Bvom.com reports that German Association of Experts in the Fields of Migration and Development Cooperation (AGEF) will provide salary assistance for Vietnamese repatriates from Germany, and purchase equipment for enterprises that have employed those people.

The German Development Service (DED) main role will be helping SMEs become more environmentally friendly and increase the safety of their working conditions, train personnel to make handicrafts, with priority given to poor women and disabled people.
