Textiles: Earthquake survivors wait for shoddy tents

Local tent makers in Pakistan are failing to meet agreed targets, providing the Sindh government with only 4,810 tents as against the target of 6,175.

Only three manufacturers demonstrated satisfactory performances while five appear to have a rather lethargic approach to meeting goals. In addition tent makers were also failing to meet quality standards.
