Trade: Sudan and Egypt - open markets and private sector investment

Sudan and Egypt are to open their respective markets and promote the role of the private sector in the areas of trade and investment.

In a joint press conference in Sudan on Sunday with Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmad Nazif Sudanese, Second Vice-President Ali Osman Taha , called on Egyptian businessmen, companies and the investment sector to study with their Sudanese counterparts prospects of investment provided by the atmosphere of peace realized in Sudan.

The Egyptian Prime Minister focused on the importance of the role played by the private sector in trade exchange and the implementation of agreements and creating an atmosphere conducive to open markets.

Taha, also said the agreement of meat exports to Egypt will be completed within the coming weeks.
