Training: Plan & Promote a Training Program - Establishing client group

By Mike Hitchen Consulting - the consultancy that puts principles before profits.

A client group exists who need training and you have to identify the client group and the reasons training may be required. The client group may be a department/division of an organisation. The need of clients will vary. The group may require training for a number of reasons, for example:

* Increased productivity of the group, department or organisation

* An increase in the profits of the organisation

* Attainment of specific industry or enterprise competency standards, for reasons of promotion, remuneration or increased job skills

* Achievement of government or community priorities, for example new training policies

Whatever the reason for the training, as the trainer it is up to you to ensure that the training is accurate and well planned to suit the needs of the individual learner.
