Construction: Malaysian company to build highway in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has given approval for Malaysian company Azimat Consortium, to build a new 210 km highway linking Dhaka and Chittagong. The $896 million project will be the country's biggest private investment in road building.

The contract for the four lane toll road includes five years of construction time, tax holiday for 10 years after starting toll collection and duty-free import of equipment for construction purposes.
