Defense: Judge rules Canada owes veterans $4.6 billion

Reuters reports that an Ontario Superior Court judge has ruled that the Canadian government owes thousands of disabled war veterans $4.6 billion after failing to properly administer their funds.

The veterans affected by the ruling include those from World War I onwards, who were injured serving their country and deemed by the government to be incapable of managing their own finances as a result of their disabilities.
