Defense: Russia to supply Iran with $1 billion worth of arms

Reuters, reports that Russia intends to sell more than $1 billion worth of tactical surface-to-air missiles and other defense hardware to Iran.

U.S. Under Secretary of State Nicholas Burns, has said that he had raised the issue of arms sales to Iran during his visit to Moscow, where he met with Russia's Foreign Ministry.

According to another source, the deal would include modernizing Iran's air force.
