Entrepreneurship: Nigeria announces plan to create 2 million jobs per year

The Punch, reports that Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo, has announced a new Micro-finance Policy and Regulatory Framework, which would generate a minimum of two million jobs annually.

The new policy requires state and local governments to set aside at least one per cent of their annual budgets to micro credit for the benefit of the poor or the micro-entrepreneurs.
