Food: Norwegian salmon causing concern and puzzlement

Singapore has announced that it will be checking Norwegian salmon for signs of contamination. The announcement follows Russia's ban on Norwegian salmon claiming the fish contains high levels of lead and cadmium.

However, Norway's Food Safety Authority, maintains that they have extensive documentation of the quality of farmed salmon and are puzzled by Russian claims.
