This is the last post before Christmas! i On Global Trends, will not be published until Tuesday Dec 27.This Christmas is a bag of mixed feelings for me. This time last year, Mel was with me in Sydney. Being Christmas, all the things we did together and attended, are all happening at almost the same time as last year. The difference being of course, that this time she is on the other side of the world.
We have had a few set backs along the road to togetherness, and I get a little emotional when I hear the words of, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" especially when it gets to, "Through the years We all will be together, If the Fates allow".
Hang on a second. "Fates allow"?
Bugger that for a game of tin soldiers - as they say in the movies - thems fighting words!
