Human Resources: Indian workers in Bahrain to benefit from new insurance scheme

Low-paid Indian workers in Bahrain are to benefit from the introduction of a three-in-one insurance scheme.

The scheme will cover workers in the construction and garment sectors as well as domestic servants. The new scheme will cover accident and critical illness as well as provision for "expat emergencies" (air fares home etc.).
