Human Resources: Indonesia outlaws discrimination in the workplace

Indonesia has introduced measures to eliminate discrimination in the workplace. The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) directives were developed by government, unions, employer groups and the International Labor Organisation (ILO).

The directives are intended to ensure equal opportunities regarding employment recruitment and placement, and in the wages workers receive, regardless of gender, religion, race, ethnic group, political affiliation or social status.
