Human Resources: Tulsa slave company sued for $5.5 million

India Abroad, reports that John Pickle Co, an Oklahoma company accused in 2002 of keeping 52 Indians in virtual slavery, has now been sued for $5.5 million by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

The EEOC says the company owes the workers at least $500,000 in back wages, though the company claims it only owes $37,000.
