International Development: Church leaders call on Kenya's leaders to unite to fight famine

Kenya: Church leaders and politicians in Ukambani have asked the Government to declare the current famine a national disaster. Bishop, Martin Kivuva and Wildlife assistant minister Kalembe Ndile, urged politicians to put their personal interests aside and be more responsive to the plight of their people.

Speaking at a special Christmas mass, they also called on leaders to stop playing politics and to unite to combat the sever famine in Kenya.

Personally, I think a snowball in hell has more of a chance.
