International Development: World Bank approves $110 for urban development in Nigeria

The World Bank has approved credit of $110m to develop critical areas of Nigeria's urban infrastructure, investment and maintenance.

During a ministerial press briefing, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, said, the program of urban renewal and slum upgrading is being implemented by the ministry nationwide, and involves the rehabilitation of township roads, drains and provision of basic infrastructure in core-slum areas.
