Oil: Chavez adds Paraguay to "accessible" energy supply scheme

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, has added Paraguay to its "accessible" energy supply scheme entitling the South American Mercosur member to defer 25% payment of the oil bill.

Armando Rodriguez , head of Paraguay's state owned oil company, Petroleos Paraguayos (Petropar) siad that the first Venezuelan shipment is scheduled to arrive next February/March.

Under the agreement Paraguay has the option of paying oil invoices in full or 75% within 90 days.
