Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), has won a $150 Million Contract to Support U.S. Department of Treasury.
CSC will support legacy and production applications, maintain information systems, conduct systems security and provide strategic business services to the Treasury and its bureaus, including the Internal Revenue Service, to help the organizations implement initiatives for e-government and system modernization.
The new contract is incremental to a contract awarded in 2000.
CSC employs 78,000 people in 88 countries and reported revenue of $14.5 billion for the 12 months ended September 30, 2005. The company was founded in 1959 by Roy Nutt and Fletcher Jones. Nutt had been a member of the IBM team that had developed FORTRAN
