Outsourcing: Indian worker in Texas sues for harassment after company outsources to India

India Abroad, reports that an Indian computer specialist in Dallas is suing her former company because she claims to have been harassed as a result of their decision to outsource some of its work to India.

She alleges that coworkers at Caremark PCS, called her a "brown-skinned bitch", made fun of her accent, and of course the great catch-cry of the uninformed - accused her of stealing their jobs.

Reporting the matter to supervisors and also the company's ethics helpline, apparently did not resolve the situation. In fact, insulting messages were then scrawled on her windscreen.
