Training: Training seminar held for human rights organisations in Chechnya

The Council of Europe has been holding a training seminar for Chechen human rights organisations.

Organised by the Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Alvaro Gil-Robles, the seminar was to promote the consolidation of civil society in Chechnya, and introduce local Chechen NGOs to the activity of the Council of Europe, including advise on working methods and funding applications.
