Women's Issues: Five female activists arrested in Zimbabwe

Radio Africa, reports that five members of the Zimbabwean women's pressure group, Women Of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA), were arrested on Saturday in Harare during a protest march commemorating International Human Rights Day.

Those arrested claim that police, led by a man known as Mhondoro, assaulted them while in custody. After being denied access to lawyers, the group negotiated an admission of guilt fine and were released.
