Agriculture: Vietnam seeks Indian expertise in tea, cashew and pepper cultivation

Vietnam is looking to India for expertise in the areas of tea, cashew nuts and pepper cultivation.

Tran Duc Minh, Vice-Minister of Trade, Vietnam Ministry of Commerce, told members of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, that Vietnam was ideally suited for such cultivation and India expertise would enhance the sectors potential.

He also took the opportunity to urge Indian investors to invest in other sectors such as the automotive industry, non-conventional energy and pharmaceuticals.
