Aviation: China exports aircraft to Egypt

The Peoples Daily, reports that China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) II, has exported 80 K8 aircrafts to Egypt and renewed export deals for 67 aircraft to Egypt and Pakistan.

China Aviation Industry Corporation II (AVIC II) is a state-owned corporation established after the restructure of the former Aviation Industries of China.

The company owns 81 subordinate industrial enterprises, research institutes and other organizations (including 50 percent shares of CATIC).

Its main business scope covers the development and production of aero-products for both military and civil applications, including helicopter, transporter, trainer, attacker and general aircraft.
