Iran is proposing direct flights to the United States, according to a spokesman for Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation.Following requests from Iranian's living in the U.S., Iran recently sent a letter to the head of US aviation officials declaring Iran's readiness to resume direct flights to New York and Los Angeles.
At the time of writing, no response had been received.
