Consumer: South Korean's spent little on books last year

Asia in Focus, reports that according to the country's National Statistical Office, South Koreans' spending on books was almost nil last year.

It seems the average spending on books and print materials for the third quarter of 2005 amounted to $10 per household, just half a per cent of the monthly average spending.
