Environment: Canadian company to help Ghana dislodge trees under Volta Lake

Ghana Web, reports that a Canadian company could help improve Ghana's economy by getting rid of trees growing under the Volta Lake.

Joe Clark, Canadian Member of Parliament and Executive Chairman of Clark Sustainable Resource Developments (CSRD) Limited, said his company could dislodge the trees without destroying the lake-bed.

Clark also told Professor Dominic Fobih, Minister of Lands, Forestry and Mines, in Accra, that he believed the lake had immense commercial value.
