Nigeria's Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, will today start paying severance benefits to over 1,300 of its staff that were laid off during recent reorganisation.Departments and agencies include;Geological Survey of Nigeria Agency, Bitumen Project, Akure, Ondo State, the Nigerian Mining Corporation and the Nigerian Coal Corporation.
