International Development: Kenyan minister sells car to raise money for water project

I often comment on corruption in African politics so it was a nice change to stumble across an article in a Kenyan publication - The Daily Nation.

The assistant minister for Tourism Mr Kalembe Ndile, has offered to sell his personal car to help raise funds for a water project that includes drilling of boreholes and construction of dams to store rain water.
