International Relations: Iran and Algeria seek to expand cooperation

Iran and Algeria are seeking to develop closer cooperation between the two countries. The announcement follows a visit to Algeria by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Mohammad-Reza Baqeri.

The minister met with Algerian Foreign Minister Mohammad Bedjaoui, as part of the first session of the joint political committee of Iran and Algeria.
