Management: Compulsory training programs for China's senior management

China has published regulations that require compulsory training for the country's senior managerial personnel.

The Guidelines on Training Work for Senior Managerial Personnel of Listed Firms, was published by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and are designed to help companies improve their corporate governance and professionalism. Records of their training and tests will be entered in the credit data bank built by the commission.

The training programs will include online and face-to-face courses ,and chairmen, directors and general managers, must participate in at least one program per year during their terms in office.
