Motoring: Nearly one million vehicles made in Iran last year

Statistics released by Iran's Industries ministry, report that almost one million cars were made in Iran last year. This would make the country the largest car producer in the Middle East.

The two main players contributing to this figure were Iran Khodro, who produced 553,000 vehicles and Saipa, with 413,000.
