Population: Be happy, live in Shanghai

According to a recent survey by the Shanghai Urban Investigation Team, Shanghai rates as the happiest of China's three largest cities. Those who lived in Beijing and Guangzhou, also named it as their preferred place to live.

For those who like statistics: 49% voted for Shanghai, 29% for Beijing and 22% for Guangzhou. Respondents cited better wages as their main reason for choosing Shanghai.
