Uzbekistan's National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, is planning to ask the China Development Bank, for a $20 million line of credit to enable importattion of equipment and technology from China to aid small businesses in the country.So far the Chinese government has lent Uzbekistan about $80 million in low-interest or interest-free loans and aid for projects in the social sector, utilities, agriculture machine building, irrigation, and the chemical industry.
