Stock Market: Over a trillion dollars of stocks traded in Saudi Arabia last year

According to local reports, up to 1.1 trillion dollars worth of stocks were traded in Saudi Arabia's stock market during the year 2005. This represents a massive 133%over last year.

A report issued by the Saudi stock market states that over 12 billion shares were traded at the Saudi stock market this year, compared with over 10 billion shares last year. The report also stated that 16.61 million transactions were concluded compared with 13.32 million last year.
