Telecommunications: Uganda's telecommunications sector to be fully liberalized by 2010

The Uganda Communications Commissions (UCC) has announced that the country's telecommunications sector will be fully liberalized by 2010.

UCC chief Patrick Masambu, said the plan included every sub-county having a communication service center including Internet cafe, and an ICT training center. Primary schools and health centers will also be connected under the imitative.
