Tourism: 12 crocodiles die of starvation on farm allocated to Zimbabwe Tourism Authority chief

Zimbabwe's Herald, reports that at least 12 crocodiles have starved to death on a farm allocated to Zimbabwe Tourism Authority chief executive officer Karikoga Kaseke. It appears that the crocodiles have been without food since last November, something they have in common with a great many humans. Kaseke, claims that although he was allocated the farm, he could not move in without an official letter offering him the farm.

The Zimbabwe National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ZNSPCA), moved in to rescue surviving crocodiles but attempts to meet Kaseke proved futile.
