Trade: Inter-Korea trade breaks through the $1 billion mark

According to the Korea Investment-Trade Association (KITA), trade between North and South Korea, broke through the $1 billion mark for the first time last year since the North began to import South Korean products in 1988. Exports to South Korea accounted for $340 million while exports to the North reached $710 million.

In addition more companies from the two Koreas' are forming joint ventures.
