Women's Issues: Males continue to dominate China's media

According to a report by the China's Women Reporters Association, males continue to dominate China's media industry, and most news stories disregard or are insensitive to gender problems.

Figures reveal that although 69% of the country's broadcasters and 54% of China's journalists are female, 81 percent of news stories are about men. Another gripe is that experts and spokesmen are usually male.

Most experts and spokespersons are usually wrong anyway!
