Bilateral Cooperation: Closer ties between Syria and Morocco

Syrian and Moroccan business leaders have met to discuss establishment of a joint marketing company and accord to build a free trade zone.

Local media reports that the two sides also studied prospects of developing naval and air cargo lines in a direct way between the two states.

Syrian exports to Morocco include cumin seeds, sugar food staff as well calcium carbonate, detergents, raw cotton and wells digging equipment while Syria imports from Morocco "fish and chemical wood pasta."
